The Wisconsin Food Security Consortium is commended by Governor Jim Doyle!
On October 4th 2007, to coincide with the Wisconsin Hunger Summit, Governor Jim Doyle offered a Certificate of Commendation to the Wisconsin Food Security Consortium for efforts to engage the citizens of Wisconsin in a broad-based planning effort to eliminate hunger and food insecurity in the state.
The Commendation recognizes the Wisconsin Food Security Consortium as a statewide partnership of members of public and private agencies dedicated to the elimination of hunger and food insecurity in Wisconsin. The Commendation further recognizes the Consortium for engaging stakeholders in a collaborative education and planning initiative to create and implement an Action Plan to Reduce Hunger in Wisconsin.
